Golden Isles Speedway
Armed Forces Day racing started a new chapter at Golden Isles
With perfect weather and all 6 divisions in action , we started our first event with our new owner Steve Stevenson .

Street Stocks started things off with Dalton Kirby taking the checkered in the qualifying heat and also the feature win from the pole. Great battle with 2nd finishing Chris Keller throughout, followed by Branden Yawn, Dustin Collins and Jamie Flowers.
Next were Enduros with 2 qualifying heats, winners were Jamie Flowers and Chris Litchfield. 2nd starting Chris Litchfield would get the feature win , followed by Jamie Flowers, Chris Keller ,Dylan Litchfield and Russel Waters.
SuperStreet saw the qualifying heat winner Mack Williams. 2nd starting Brian Grantham would take the feature followed by Donnie Durrance, Dillon Durrance, Marty McGuire and Chris Pearce.
602's had Kole Platt as the fast qualifier. Kole would also go on to take the feature win, with a very intense side by side battle with Chase Collins early on in this one. 6th starting Wiley Mcdaniel would finish 2nd, followed by Chase Collins, Johnny Collins and Zane Johnson.
Crown Vics had 2 qualifying heats tonight with winners Kyle Wiggins and Chase Ammons . 2nd starting Chase Ammons would go on to win the feature , his 1st feature win , followed by Griffin Jones, Kyle Wiggins,Jake Gibbs and Ryan Creamer.
604's fast qualifier was Jordan Yawn . 2nd starting Kyle Bridges took the feature win with Johnny Collins keeping it close for most of it for 2nd followed by Jordan Yawn, Haiden Cowan and Nick Kirkus.
We thank all the teams and crews that came out and competed, all the fans that came to watch and a great job by the GIS staff who made it all happen.
Our next scheduled event is an open practice June 23rd , with racing action on Saturday June 24th - 604's, 602's, Enduros, Superstreet, Street Stock and Crown Vics.
